This training is aimed at individuals who wish to deepen their knowledge in the area of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and PLC systems. The training provides the fundamentals and advanced skills for the implementation, management, and troubleshooting of SCADA and PLC systems in industrial environments. Course Content: Fundamentals of PLC Technology Introduction to PLC systems and their application in industry Programming languages according to IEC 61131-3 (e.g., LD, FBD, STL, SFC) Development and adaptation of control programs Connecting PLCs with industrial sensors and actuators SCADA Systems and Industrial Monitoring Introduction to SCADA architectures and functionalities Data acquisition and visualization of production processes Integration of PLC and SCADA systems Alarm management and reporting in SCADA platforms Networks and Communication for Industrial Control Systems Communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC-UA, and Profinet Network architectures for SCADA and PLC applications Security concepts and data transmission in automation technology Fault diagnosis and optimization of communication interfaces Technical Support for SCADA and PLC Systems Analysis and resolution of faults in control systems Maintenance and monitoring of SCADA and PLC installations Creation and documentation of support processes Backup strategies and system recovery Prerequisites: Completed training or qualification as an IT specialist or comparable knowledge in the IT field Basic knowledge of networks and automation technology is an advantage Interest in technical support and industrial control systems German language proficiency of at least B1
