These techniques are primarily used in the preparation of vehicles, especially for treating smaller defects. Application areas of Smart Repair: Repair of plastic parts including color matching Refurbishment of leather interiors in vehicles Repair of dents and dings Paint corrections to remove scratches Glass repair and replacement of damaged windows Window tinting and vehicle wrapping What is taught in the area of automotive glass The content covered includes: Theory on the removal and installation of sensors Stone chip repair with resins Basic knowledge and legal regulations Replacement of front and rear windows Changing mirrors and side windows Basics of working with airbag and seatbelt tensioner systems The automotive glass module of this training covers various aspects of vehicle glazing. The focus is on procedures for repairing minor glass damages that can be performed without replacing the glass. Special resin techniques are used for this purpose.
