Course overview

Objective This training program provides comprehensive knowledge and skills for the roles of Scrum Product Owner and Scrum Master. Participants will become familiar with the principles and practices of agile working methods, particularly Scrum. Strategies for maximizing product value, stakeholder communication, and managing product backlogs will be taught. Furthermore, participants will be empowered to coach teams as Scrum Masters, identify and eliminate obstacles, and create agile environments. An excursion into the world of generative artificial intelligence (AI) complements the content. Content The course is divided into several modules that cover both the role of the Product Owner and that of the Scrum Master. Fundamentals of agile working methods and Scrum The role of the Product Owner, including product vision, strategy, and stakeholder management Management of the Product Backlog, release and sprint planning Scrum events and artifacts The role of the Scrum Master, coaching teams, and removing obstacles Agile estimation methods, progress monitoring, and reporting Integration of customer feedback and dealing with complexity Scaling Scrum and creating agile environments An excursion into the fundamentals and application possibilities of generative AI Preparation for the certification exams for Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) and Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) from Scrum.org Learning Objectives Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to: Apply the principles and values of agile methods. Effectively assume the responsibilities and tasks of a Scrum Product Owner. Create, prioritize, and manage a Product Backlog. Fulfill the role of a Scrum Master to promote and support the application of Scrum. Correctly implement Scrum events and artifacts. Lead teams to agile excellence through coaching and facilitation. Recognize and utilize the potentials of generative AI for agile processes. Prepare for the certification exams PSPO I and PSM I. Career Prospects The acquired competencies qualify participants for positions in agile project management, as Product Owners, Scrum Masters, or in related roles in technology-oriented companies. Knowledge in the field of AI opens additional opportunities in the design and implementation of digital transformation processes.
