Scrum Foundation, Scrum Master, and ITIL 5

Course overview

The training program Scrum Foundation, Scrum Master, and ITIL Foundation (Version 5) combines the fundamentals of agile project management with an in-depth focus on the Scrum Master role and the basics of IT service management. The Scrum Foundation section covers Scrum roles, Scrum events, and Scrum artifacts, while the Scrum Master section addresses team coaching, facilitation of Scrum events, and management of the Product Backlog and Sprint Backlog. ITIL Foundation (Version 5) complements the training with the four dimensions of service management, the seven guiding principles, and key management practices for digital products and services. Together, the three modules create a practical understanding of agile teamwork and modern IT service management. The duration of the training depends on the composition of the course modules and the individual prior knowledge. Agile Scrum Foundation o Agile Manifesto, agile principles, and distinction from traditional project methods o Scrum roles: Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Development Team o Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective o Scrum artifacts: Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and Product Increment o Estimation techniques such as Planning Poker and Story Points o Monitoring with Burndown Charts, Kanban Boards, and Information Radiators o Exam preparation and certification: Agile Scrum Foundation Agile Scrum Master o Agile concepts and distinction from frameworks like Kanban, XP, or SAFe o Responsibilities of the Scrum Master in team and organizational context o Team coaching, conflict management, and removal of impediments o Maintenance and prioritization of Product Backlog and Sprint Backlog o Agile planning and estimation methods as well as progress tracking o Scaling agile projects and introducing Agile in organizations o Exam preparation and certification: Agile Scrum Master ITIL Foundation (Version 5) o Key terms such as Digital Product, Digital Service, and Experience Level Agreement o The four dimensions: Organizations and People, Information and Technology, Partners and Suppliers, Value Streams and Processes o The seven guiding principles, including focus on value, iterative approach, and collaboration o Service Value System and digital product and service lifecycle from discovery to support o Management practices such as Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Enablement o AI governance and aspects of digital product and service delivery o Exam preparation and certification: ITIL Foundation (Version 5) Next step: Request a non-binding consultation for individual course composition and flexible start dates.
