Course overview

This training program covers content from the Smart Electric field. The focus is on the maintenance and servicing of electric vehicle components. Tools and methods for maintaining electrical systems High voltage certificate Level 2s Smart Electric Training The content of this Smart Electric training includes the repair and diagnosis of electronic vehicle systems as well as the maintenance of high voltage systems. Additionally, programming and calibration of control units and software are covered. Safety training in handling electric drive systems and the installation of charging technologies and infrastructure are also part of the curriculum. Furthermore, battery management and performance optimization are addressed. The Smart Electric area encompasses the maintenance and repair of electrical systems in vehicles, with a particular focus on electric and hybrid drives. In addition to working on high voltage systems and optimizing battery management, electric drive components are diagnosed and maintained according to safety standards. Entry: Basics of Vehicle Technology In the first module of the Smart Electric training, the basics of vehicle technology relevant to working on electric vehicles are taught. Topics such as drive technology, chassis, and inspection procedures are covered. Additionally, physical fundamentals regarding electromobility and safety aspects are conveyed. The learning content of the module includes occupational safety and physical fundamentals of electromobility as well as the inspection and testing of vehicles. Chassis components such as axles, suspension, brakes, and steering are addressed, along with drive technology, including motors, transmissions, and drive shafts. The application of this knowledge occurs specifically in the context of electric vehicles. Module 2: Specialization in Electrical Engineering Content The second module of this Smart Electric training deals with electrical engineering, the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in electric and hybrid vehicles, including high voltage technology, battery management, and charging technology. Qualification: High Voltage Certificate 2s This is the basis for working on live high voltage systems, diagnosing faults, and independently carrying out maintenance measures while adhering to safety standards. This module on electrical engineering covers the following content: Voltage, current, and resistance Electric motors Electronic data transmission and troubleshooting Handling high voltage systems from distortions Handling electric vehicles (E-bikes, E-scooters, electric cars) Energy generation, storage, and charging technology High voltage certificate 2s for work on production vehicles Requirements for Participation Interest in various vehicles and modes of transportation, including cars, bicycles, scooters, and Segways Manual dexterity German language proficiency at B2 level
