This training course covers the various disciplines within the Smart Electric field. It teaches and applies the maintenance of electrical systems and components in vehicles. Methods and tool knowledge High voltage certificate Level 2s included Smart Electric Overview Smart Electric refers to the maintenance, diagnosis, and optimization of electrical and electronic systems in vehicles with electric and hybrid drives. The focus is on the analysis and maintenance of high-voltage systems, battery management, and electric drives while adhering to safety standards. The areas of Smart Electric include the maintenance of high-voltage systems in hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as battery management and efficiency optimization. Safety training for handling electric drives is also covered, along with the calibration and programming of control units. Additionally, the program includes the installation and maintenance of charging technologies, as well as the diagnosis and repair of electrical systems. Module 1: Basics of Vehicle Technology Teaching Content This training course initially covers the basics of drive technology, chassis, and inspection of electric vehicles in the first module. Furthermore, training in occupational safety and physical fundamentals with applications in electromobility is provided. Knowledge is conveyed and applied that is necessary for working on electric vehicles. The following content is taught in this module on the basics of vehicle technology: Drive technology (motor, transmission, drive shafts) Chassis (axle, steering, wheels, wheel suspension, suspension, and brakes) Inspection and testing equipment Reference to electric vehicles Occupational safety and basic physics Smart Electric Specialization in Electrical Engineering: Content and Goals The content of the specialization includes troubleshooting in electronic systems and data transmission, as well as handling high-voltage systems and their distortions. Topics covered include electric motors and drive technology, measuring voltage, current, and resistance, as well as charging technology and energy storage. Additionally, the handling of electric vehicles, including e-bikes and electric cars, is taught. In the second module of this training in the Smart Electric area, the focus is on specialization in electrical engineering. Topics include the diagnosis and repair of electrical components in electric and hybrid vehicles, particularly in the area of high-voltage technology. The completion of the module includes obtaining the high voltage certificate 2s. High Voltage Certificate 2s This qualification allows work on live high-voltage systems. In addition to fault diagnosis, knowledge is imparted to independently carry out maintenance and repair work while observing safety regulations.
