Smart Repair, also known as "Small to Middle Area Repair Technology," includes methods for eliminating minor damages to vehicles, such as dents, scratches, or upholstery damage. These techniques are used in vehicle preparation and focus on the targeted repair of smaller damages. Smart Repair is used for: Elimination of dents and bulges Paint repair to eliminate scratches Repair of plastic parts with color matching Preparation of leather interior fittings Glass repair and replacement Vehicle wrapping and window tinting What is taught in Spot Repair Contents of the module: Cosmetic rim repairs Occupational safety and security measures Damage assessment and evaluation Handling spray cans and paint guns Color theory and color mixing techniques Materials science and environmentally friendly processes Basics of shape and color theory This training focuses on the Spot Repair method within the Smart Repair techniques. It involves the localized repair of minor paint damages caused by scratches, stone chips, or chipping. The damage is eliminated through sanding, painting, and polishing, and the color surface is adjusted.
