This training course covers the various disciplines within the Smart Repair field, providing and applying repair knowledge. Focus on the application of repair techniques Handling tools on real vehicles What is Smart Repair Smart Repair is used for the following tasks: Repair of plastic parts with matching color adjustment Correction of paint damage such as scratches Refurbishment of leather seats and other interior materials Window tinting and application of vehicle wraps Repair of dents and dings Glass repairs and replacement of damaged windows The term Smart Repair (Small to Medium Area Repair Technology) encompasses techniques used to eliminate minor damages to vehicles. These procedures focus on targeted restoration, especially in the context of vehicle preparation. The emphasis is on repairing smaller defects in various areas of the vehicle. Repair of small paint damages: Spot Repair The training in Spot Repair addresses methods for rectifying minor paint damages on vehicles. This technique allows for localized restoration, where the damaged area is sanded, repainted, and polished. Damage from chipping, scratches, or stone impacts is corrected. The content covered includes occupational safety and precautions, cosmetic repair of rims, as well as damage assessment and analysis. Techniques for color mixing and matching, fundamentals of color and shape theory, the technology of spray guns and spray cans, as well as material science and environmental aspects are also addressed.
