Technical language in English Technical English is the language in which technical texts, descriptions, and agreements are written in many industries. This course teaches Technical English using texts from mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electronics, materials science, chemistry, energy and environmental technology, transport and traffic, as well as communication technology. Grammatical explanations and exercises on English grammar, vocabulary exercises, and phrases for personal introduction, description, and expression of opinion complement the text work in Technical English. Listening comprehension exercises, where all texts are also available as audio material, train the understanding of spoken technical language and connect reading and listening.
