Retraining as a Nursing Professional

Course overview

With the Nursing Professions Act, the German government is unifying the previously separate nursing training programs in elderly care, health and pediatric nursing, and health and general nursing. All trainees will receive a common, generalist training as nursing professionals. They will learn to provide independent, comprehensive, and process-oriented care for people of all ages in acute and long-term stationary as well as outpatient care situations. Employment opportunities: in nursing homes in nursing services in hospitals in pediatric care areas in rehabilitation clinics in psychiatric clinics Training content: Theoretical and practical training Competency areas Nursing processes and nursing diagnostics Communication and counseling Intra- and interdisciplinary action Law and ethics Nursing science and professional ethics Necessary application documents: Application letter Tabular resume with photo Current certificate, certified final certificate to be submitted after completing school education Medical certificate of health suitability for the profession A prerequisite for enrollment is the conclusion of a training contract with one of the following institutions (providers of practical training): Nursing home Nursing service Hospital
