Responsible Nursing Professional (Basic Training for Nursing Management)

Course overview

According to the Implementation Regulation of the Bavarian Nursing and Residential Quality Act (AVPfleWoqG) and the requirements of § 71 Abs. 3 Sentence 4, SGB XI The enhancement of the quality of life for people in need of care and the economic success of care facilities are largely dependent on their leadership. As a responsible nursing professional, you will manage the quality and efficiency of care and support for elderly individuals in a responsible position. You will support the development of staff in multiprofessional teams and significantly influence the working atmosphere. You will learn among other things: Fundamentals of nursing management in care facilities and services To meet quality requirements of inspection bodies and to use resources efficiently, To consider and comply with legal requirements in decision-making, To communicate successfully in a team, To implement changes professionally From Responsible Nursing Professional to Nursing Management The Nursing and Residential Quality Act (PfleWoqG) aims to establish uniform standards for further training in the nursing sector. It also defines the further training for Responsible Nursing Professionals and for Nursing Management. The training for Responsible Nursing Professionals is considered a basic course (460 hours), while the training for Nursing Management is seen as an advanced course (264 hours). The basic and advanced courses can be completed separately or consecutively, depending on which qualification one wishes to achieve.
