Classes are conducted as synchronous live online instruction with fixed class times, present instructors, and mandatory active participation. It is not a purely self-learning format. Participants work with case studies, group work, peer consultation, transfer tasks, legal case analyses, and practical projects from their own work field. With a clear structure, fixed class times, and immediate practical relevance, you benefit from a reliable learning framework without having to step out of your professional life for your career development. Additionally, participants receive materials and resources for the preparation and follow-up of the content. This creates a learning process that remains connected both in class and between modules. Practical Transfer: The training is consistently focused on transferring knowledge into everyday leadership. Case analyses, project work, and transfer tasks help to directly apply content to one's own institution. Additionally, an observation period in another care area or institution of at least 20 hours is recommended. This is not a prerequisite for exam admission but can meaningfully support the perspective shift. Duration of Training: Approximately 12 months 470 theory hours Holidays (depending on school holidays in NRW) Christmas holidays, Holy Week and Easter week, the first four weeks of summer holidays, and the first week of autumn holidays Implementation: 100% online instruction of which approximately 80% is live synchronous instruction with present instructors, mandatory attendance, active interaction, and clear pedagogical support. and approximately 20% self-directed learning (SDL) part-time fixed learning groups We strongly recommend that all interested parties clarify the recognition capability with their institution and the responsible authority before registering.
