Logistics + Cloud Systems + Robotics + Digitalization This training course provides knowledge in the areas of logistics, cloud-based systems, and robotics programming. Participants will learn how modern technologies and IT solutions are used in logistics to improve efficiency and safety. Module 1: Basics of Logistics Module 2: Introduction to Cloud-Based Systems for Logistics Module 3: Basics of Robotics Programming with ROS Basics of Logistics Introduction to Logistics Systems: Overview of basic logistics concepts, functions, and the importance of logistics in industrial value chains. Processes & Networks: Fundamentals of material and information flows, logistics concepts, and control models in the context of Industry 4.0. Planning & Organization: Logistics planning, load carrier management, route planning, and container management as strategic elements of modern logistics. IT & Digitalization: Basics of logistics IT, automation, data analysis, and future technologies such as digital twins and smart logistics. Safety & Regulations: Initial insights into protective regulations, packaging basics, customs processes, and legal aspects in logistics. Introduction to Cloud-Based Systems for Logistics Cloud Architectures: Overview of public, private, and hybrid clouds in logistics. Integration: Linking cloud-based systems with existing IT infrastructures. Data Security: Protection mechanisms, compliance, and access rights in the cloud. Practical Examples: Use in inventory management, shipping tracking, and supply chain analysis. Basics of Robotics Programming with ROS Introduction: Architecture of the Robot Operating System (ROS) and its application in logistics. Modules & Nodes: Structure, communication, and data exchange in ROS environments. Simulation Environments: Use of Gazebo and Rviz for robot simulation. Practical Relevance: Control of mobile robots and manipulators in the intralogistics environment. Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to understand modern logistics processes, integrate cloud-based systems, and implement robotics solutions with ROS in practical applications.
