Logistics + Warehouse Automation + Industry 4.0 + Robotics This further education program imparts knowledge in data-driven methods, warehouse logistics, and robotics, taking into account digitalization and automation. It supports the optimization of logistical processes and the integration of modern technologies in goods logistics. Module 1: Application of Data-Driven Methods in Logistics Module 2: Basics of Warehouse Logistics Module 3: Introduction to Robotics and Industry 4.0 Technologies Application of Data-Driven Methods in Logistics *Data Sources: Internal and external data streams in supply chains. Analysis Approaches: Real-time data analysis and pattern recognition. Software Solutions: Use of analysis platforms, reporting tools, and automation. Logistics Optimization: Support for capacity planning, risk detection, and performance tracking. Basics of Warehouse Logistics Types of Warehouses & Storage Facilities: Overview of block, rack, flow, and automated storage concepts and their significance in the supply chain. Goods Receipt and Dispatch: Management of storage, retrieval, and inventory control with the support of modern warehouse management systems. Warehouse Organization & Structural Planning: Designing efficient warehouse layouts, using material handling equipment, and container management to optimize processes. Digitalization & Automation: Integration of automated storage systems and IT-supported solutions under the conditions of Industry 4.0 Introduction to Robotics and Industry 4.0 Technologies Robotics: Mechanical structures, degrees of freedom, and motion control. Sensors & Actuators: Use of sensors for environmental perception and precise actuator control. Connected Systems: Cyber-physical systems and data integration in the smart factory. Automation: Real-time communication, digital control, and IoT connectivity in robotics. Upon completion of the further education program, participants will be able to utilize data-driven analytical tools, warehouse management systems, and robotics technologies in logistics and optimize processes in an Industry 4.0 environment.
