Advanced Training in Nursing Management / Area Management

Course overview

The advanced training as a ward manager - PDL/Responsible Nursing Professional - enables participants to take on a leadership role in an outpatient or inpatient care facility. According to § 71 SGB XI, care facilities must have a leading nursing professional with training amounting to 460 hours. The training for the responsible nursing professional of the ward is aimed at nursing professionals who are continuously involved in leadership roles, have staff reporting to them, or aspire to a leadership position with management responsibility.
