Business English Basic A2/B1 and Career Orientation with Job Coaching

Course overview

This course combines Business English at levels A2/B1 with career-oriented job coaching. In addition to enhancing your English language skills, you will acquire knowledge about career orientation, the application process, and preparation for the German job market. Business English Basic A2/B1 You will develop your English skills for typical communication situations in the international professional environment. A focus is placed on oral and written communication in a corporate context. You will practice writing emails, participating in meetings, and delivering presentations in English. Additionally, you will train telephone communication and practice English expressions for professional conversations, networking situations, and small talk. In doing so, you will expand your job-related vocabulary and practice using English in the workplace. Career Orientation with Job Coaching You will engage with your professional competencies, interests, and development opportunities, gaining an overview of the German job market. A focus is placed on career orientation and the development of professional perspectives. Furthermore, you will acquire foundational knowledge for the application process, enhance your digital skills, and practice verbal communication in the work environment. This module supports you in defining career goals and planning further steps for your professional development. Assessment and Course Planning Before the course begins, your current language level will be assessed. The course content and planning will be determined based on your prior knowledge and learning objectives.
