Business English Basic A2/B1 and Individual English Lessons for Trade/Technology

Course overview

This course combines Business English at level A2/B1 in group lessons with English for technology and trade in individual lessons. In addition to building your English language skills, you will expand your technical vocabulary and practice effective communication in professional situations within the technical and trade environments. Business English Basic A2/B1 (Group Lessons) You will further develop your English skills for typical communication situations in the international professional world. A focus is placed on oral and written communication in a corporate environment. You will practice the professional creation of emails, active participation in meetings, and conducting presentations in English. Additionally, you will strengthen your abilities in telephone communication and practice English expressions for professional conversations, networking situations, and small talk. In doing so, you will expand your job-related vocabulary and gain confidence in using the English language in everyday work situations. English for Technology/Trade (Individual Lessons) You will deepen your English skills for typical communication situations in technical and trade professions. A focus is placed on expanding the subject-specific vocabulary as well as the confident use of the English language in professional everyday life. You will learn to describe and explain technical processes, devices, and products clearly, as well as to communicate measurements, standards, and errors appropriately. Furthermore, you will practice participating in meetings and discussions, engage in project planning, and strengthen your skills in handling technical documentation and statistics. Assessment and Course Planning Before the course begins, your current language level will be assessed. Based on the results, the appropriate course level will be determined. Course planning is done individually according to your prior knowledge and desired learning goals.
