Business English Basic A2/B1 and English for IT

Course overview

This course combines Business English at levels A2/B1 with English for IT. In addition to building your English language skills, you will expand your IT-specific vocabulary and practice effective communication in typical professional situations in the IT field. Business English Basic A2/B1 You will develop your English skills for typical communication situations in the international workplace. A focus is placed on oral and written communication in a corporate environment. You will practice the professional creation of emails, active participation in meetings, and delivering presentations in English. Additionally, you will strengthen your telephone communication skills and practice English expressions for professional conversations, networking situations, and small talk. In doing so, you will expand your job-related vocabulary and gain confidence in using the English language in everyday work. English for IT You will deepen your English skills for typical communication situations in the IT field. A focus is placed on expanding your technical vocabulary and confidently using English in professional settings. You will engage with IT-specific phrases and terminology, communication in IT customer service, and professional email correspondence. Furthermore, you will practice conducting phone calls in English and enhance your communication skills for various professional situations in the IT environment. Assessment and Course Planning Before the course begins, your current language level will be assessed. Based on the results, the appropriate course level will be determined. Course planning is done individually according to your prior knowledge and desired learning goals.
