Everything you need to get 100% of your course paid by the Agentur für Arbeit.
What is it?
The Bildungsgutschein (Education Voucher) is issued by the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter. It pays 100% of your tuition for any AZAV-certified course — plus child-care and travel in many cases.
Who qualifies?
- You're unemployed or at risk of becoming unemployed
- You don't yet have a recognised vocational qualification
- Your current skills no longer match the labour market (Qualifizierungschancengesetz)
5 steps to your voucher
- 1Book a Beratungstermin (consultation) with your caseworker.
- 2Choose an AZAV-certified course (we'll match you).
- 3Submit the Application Text — formal text justifying the course.
- 4Receive your voucher (usually 1-3 weeks).
- 5Hand it to your provider and start at €0.
