The focus of the Associate Project Management training is on imparting knowledge and skills in the field of project management. The content includes project controlling, applied project management, and the management of project requirements. A seminar on the topic of Project Management Associate complements the offering and provides practical insights. The goal is to develop a comprehensive understanding of the planning, control, and monitoring of projects. The training places particular emphasis on the practical application of the methods and techniques learned. Content of the Training Project Controlling Projects and project goals Controlling instruments Project controlling process Deviations from the plan and recovery plans Risk management in projects Project reports Applied Project Management Applied project management The project management landscape The project context Standardized approaches in project management Agile approaches for project/process management Variations of standard methods and agile methods Tools for project managers Management of Project Requirements Basics and drivers of requirements management Classification and terms of project requirements management Tasks of requirements management Methods and quality of requirements management Process and industry-specific needs of project requirements management Seminar: Project Management Associate The course deals with expanding the fundamental knowledge of project management methods. It lays the groundwork for obtaining a certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI) at the level of Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®. Please note, however: CAPM® is a voluntary additional certification that does not expire at IU and must be organized and paid for by you. The seminar prepares you well for this exam, but not comprehensively. You should definitely also utilize the preparation options provided by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
