Course overview
The focus of this training is on disciplines of Smart Electric. It covers the maintenance of electrical vehicle components and the proper handling of tools. Topics: Methods and tools for electrical maintenance Obtaining the High Voltage Certificate Level 2s What is Smart Electric Smart Electric includes: Diagnosis and maintenance of electrical vehicle systems Battery management and performance optimization Installation and calibration of charging technology and infrastructure Repair of high voltage systems in electric vehicles Training on safety regulations for handling high voltage components Programming and calibration of control units In the field of Smart Electric, the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems of electric and hybrid vehicles are the focus. This includes working on high voltage systems and electric drives, as well as managing vehicle batteries while adhering to safety standards. Module 1: Basics of Vehicle Technology Teaching Content This training covers the basics of drive technology, chassis, and inspection of electric vehicles in the first module. Additionally, training in occupational safety and physical fundamentals with applications in electromobility is provided. Knowledge is imparted and applied that is necessary for working on electric vehicles. The following content is taught in this module on the basics of vehicle technology: Drive technology (motor, transmission, drive shafts) Chassis (axle, steering, wheels, wheel suspension, suspension, and brakes) Inspection and testing equipment Reference production for electric vehicles Occupational safety and fundamentals of physics Specialization: Electrical Engineering The second module of this training focuses on the specialization in electrical engineering in electric and hybrid vehicles. Key areas include the diagnosis and maintenance of high voltage systems, battery management, and charging technologies. The High Voltage Certificate 2s is obtained as part of the module. The content taught includes handling electric vehicles such as e-scooters, e-bikes, and electric cars, as well as the fundamentals of voltage, current, and resistance in electrical systems. The functioning of electric motors, handling high voltage systems and their distortions, as well as topics like energy generation, storage, and charging infrastructure are covered. Additionally, electronic data transmission and fault diagnosis are addressed. High Voltage Certificate 2s The High Voltage Certificate 2s is the basis for working on high voltage systems. It authorizes the diagnosis of faults and the performance of maintenance work on live electrical systems while adhering to safety requirements.
