Course overview

The focus of this training is on disciplines of Smart Electric. It covers the maintenance of electric vehicle components as well as the proper handling of tools. Topics: Methods and tools for electrical maintenance Obtaining the High Voltage Certificate Level 2s Smart Electric Training The content of this Smart Electric training includes the repair and diagnosis of electronic vehicle systems as well as the maintenance of high-voltage systems. Additionally, programming and calibration of control units and software are addressed. Safety training in handling electric drive systems and the installation of charging technologies and infrastructure are also part of the content. Furthermore, battery management and performance optimization are discussed. The Smart Electric area encompasses the maintenance and repair of electrical systems in vehicles, with a special focus on electric and hybrid drives. In addition to working on high-voltage systems and optimizing battery management, electric drive components are diagnosed and maintained according to safety standards. Module 1: Basics of Vehicle Technology The first module of this training covers the fundamental aspects of vehicle technology. Knowledge of drive technology, chassis, and inspection of electric vehicles is conveyed. Physical principles that are specifically applicable in electromobility, as well as occupational safety measures, are also addressed. The teaching content includes: Chassis components: axle, steering, wheel suspension, suspension, and brakes Occupational safety and physical principles Drive technology, including engine, transmission, and drive shafts Inspection techniques and testing equipment Reference to electric vehicles and their specifics This is taught in Module 2: Specialization in Electrical Engineering The module covers the following topics: Troubleshooting and data transmission in electronic systems Measurement of voltage, current, and resistance Handling high-voltage systems and their distortions Electric motors and their properties Energy generation, storage, and charging technology High Voltage Certificate 2s Handling E-vehicles (E-bikes, E-scooters, electric cars) The second module of this Smart Electric training focuses on electrical engineering and the maintenance of electrical systems in electric and hybrid vehicles. Special emphasis is placed on high-voltage technology and battery management, as well as troubleshooting in electronic systems. Upon completion of the module, the High Voltage Certificate Level 2s is obtained. High Voltage Certificate 2s This qualification enables the execution of work on live high-voltage systems. Additionally, the necessary knowledge is imparted to diagnose faults and carry out maintenance independently while adhering to the relevant safety standards. Requirements for participation Interest in various vehicles and modes of transportation, including cars, bicycles, scooters, and Segways Manual skills German language proficiency at B2…
