These methods focus on damage elimination. In vehicle detailing, Smart Repair is primarily used for surface and minor damage. Typical application areas of Smart Repair include the correction of scratches through paint repairs, the repair of dents and bumps, as well as the repair of damaged plastic parts with color matching. Additionally, the refurbishment of leather and interior fittings is carried out, glass repairs, and the replacement of windows are performed. Vehicle wrapping and window tinting are also common areas of activity. Vehicle Detailing Course Content This training covers the Smart Repair field of vehicle detailing. This car detailing focuses on thorough cleaning, care, and refurbishment of vehicles. This includes both the interior and exterior surfaces of the vehicle. This module on vehicle detailing imparts the following content: Refurbishment of exterior and interior Paint preparation Hologram-free polishing Sanding and polishing scratches Ceramic sealing Repairing stone chips and sealing with UV clear coat Headlight refurbishment Interior repair of upholstery, leather, and plastic Cleaning and handling with dry ice Requirements for the Smart Repair Training Interest in working in a manual trade - especially with cars Some manual dexterity German language level B2
