This training covers the individual disciplines of Smart Repair. Repair skills are practiced and implemented on vehicles. Repair techniques are learned and applied Tools are used on real vehicles What is Smart Repair? Smart Repair, also known as "Small to Middle Area Repair Technology," includes methods for eliminating minor damages to vehicles, such as dents, scratches, or upholstery damage. These techniques are used in vehicle preparation and focus on the targeted repair of smaller damages. Smart Repair is used for: Elimination of dents and bulges Paint repair to eliminate scratches Repair of plastic parts with color matching Preparation of leather interiors Glass repair and replacement Vehicle wrapping and window tinting Spot Repair Training: Content and Objectives The focus of this module includes color and shape theory as well as techniques for color matching. Procedures for cosmetic rim repair, materials science, and environmental protection are covered. Additionally, damage analysis and assessment, safety measures and occupational safety, as well as the use of spray guns and spray cans are included in the training content. The Spot Repair module of this training conveys the targeted repair of paint damage on vehicles. Small scratches, stone chips, and flaking are treated locally by precisely sanding, painting, and polishing the affected area.
