Course Description This course provides professionals and managers with the essential competencies of strategic project management. The focus is on aligning projects with corporate goals, managing entire project portfolios, and evaluating and prioritizing project-related investments. Participants will learn how digital tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Excel can be integrated into strategic management. Additionally, the course demonstrates how Artificial Intelligence (AI) - based on AI-900, AIBIZ, and GenAIBIZ - can be utilized to make data-driven and future-proof decisions. Course Contents Fundamentals of Strategic Project Management Linking projects to corporate strategy and aligning them purposefully. Synchronizing project goals with corporate goals Project portfolio management and project evaluation Prioritization and Resource Management Efficiently distributing resources to strategically relevant projects. Prioritization methods (e.g., utility analysis) Risk assessment and budget control Tool-Supported Planning and Control Professional use of software for planning, analysis, and control. MS Project for milestone planning and project tracking Jira for cross-project task management Excel for KPI analysis and decision support Artificial Intelligence in the Strategic Project Environment Using AI to analyze complex data situations and automate decision-making. AI-900: Understanding AI-supported analyses AIBIZ and GenAIBIZ: AI for portfolio management and strategic planning Conclusion After the course, participants will be able to strategically align projects, efficiently manage multiple initiatives, purposefully utilize modern tools, and apply AI-supported methods for informed decision-making.
