Further Training to Become a Unit Manager in Nursing (Advanced Course 300 UE)

Course overview

This course represents the second part of the further training "Unit Manager in Nursing" according to the state regulation on further training and examination for the management of a nursing unit (WBLPflEVO) dated July 16, 2015 (currently indefinitely extended). In this advanced qualification, the competencies acquired in the preceding core course "Responsible Nursing Professional" (500 hours) are deepened and expanded in various areas. This so-called optional instruction, totaling 300 hours (advanced course), leads to the further training goal of "Unit Manager in Nursing" (a total of 800 hours) after a successful final examination, thus achieving state recognition. The 300 hours of optional instruction (advanced course) can be credited towards the "Further Training to Become a Facility Manager in Social and Health Services."
