Terms and Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
§ 1 Scope
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern use of bildungly.de and its related services (the "Service"), provided by Sravan Vankam, Blissestrasse 41, 10713 Berlin ("Bildungly", "we"). The Service is intended for individual learners in Germany. By using it, you agree to these Terms.
§ 2 Service description
Bildungly is a free, independent information and orientation platform. Its Career Advisor helps you clarify a realistic career direction before comparing continuing-education courses against your background, goals and practical preferences. The Service may provide catalogue search, AI-generated explanations and shortlists, optional LinkedIn enrichment, course briefs by email and, with your consent, an introduction to one selected training provider. Bildungly is not a training provider, is not AZAV-certified and is not affiliated with the Bundesagentur für Arbeit, an Agentur für Arbeit or a Jobcenter.
§ 3 No legal, tax or career advice
Information provided by the Service — including AI-generated answers, course listings, funding guidance, rankings and shortlists — is general orientation, not legal or tax advice, official Berufsberatung, or a promise of admission, employment or funding. A Bildungsgutschein is decided only by the responsible Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter. Verify course content, dates, price, eligibility, admission and funding directly with the provider and competent authority before acting.
§ 4 Use of AI-generated content
The Service uses large language models and automated retrieval to generate and rank content. Outputs may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate and may not reflect the latest provider information. Recommendations depend on the information you supply and on available catalogue evidence. Review outputs critically and confirm material details independently. We do not guarantee that an output is complete or suitable for a particular decision.
§ 5 Course data and provider introductions
Course information may come from training providers and public catalogues and can change without notice. Bildungly does not offer, book or deliver courses. If you select a course and explicitly consent, Bildungly may send the named provider your contact details, selected course and a concise advisory profile so it can contact you. The provider acts independently for its follow-up. Any consultation, reservation, enrolment or training contract is between you and the provider; any funding relationship is between you and the competent authority.
§ 6 Acceptable use
You must not: (a) use the Service unlawfully; (b) submit third-party personal data without authority; (c) enter special-category data unless strictly necessary; (d) scrape at scale, reverse-engineer, overload or disrupt the Service; (e) bypass safeguards; (f) use outputs to train a competing AI model; or (g) present AI output as an official statement from an authority or provider. We may restrict abusive or unsafe use.
§ 7 Intellectual property
Text, design, logos, software and the Bildungly name are protected by intellectual-property law and belong to Bildungly or its licensors. Course data and provider materials may belong to their respective owners. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial orientation. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
§ 8 Availability and changes
The Service is currently free for learners and provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation and may change, restrict or discontinue features for product, maintenance, security or legal reasons. Material changes to these Terms will be published on this page with an updated date.
§ 9 Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law applies. For slight negligence, liability is limited to breach of an essential contractual obligation and to foreseeable, typical damage. Subject to those rules, Bildungly is not responsible for decisions by authorities or providers, third-party course performance, or loss caused by relying on unverified AI or catalogue information.
§ 10 Data protection
We process personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. Provider introductions occur only after specific consent. You may withdraw that consent for the future; withdrawal cannot reverse a transfer already completed, and the selected provider remains responsible for data it has received.
§ 11 Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protections in the country of your habitual residence remain unaffected. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG). If one provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
