    Training with a job guarantee

A job guarantee is a marketing phrase until the agreement defines it precisely. The useful question is not whether the headline sounds reassuring. It is what counts as a job, what you must do, what limits apply and what happens if the stated condition is not met. Read the written terms before you use the promise in a course decision.

Define what counts as a job

Ask whether the term means an interview, an offer or an accepted employment contract. Check employment type, hours, location, pay range and role relevance. A broad definition may not match your career goal. Make sure the promised outcome is concrete enough to compare with the job you actually want.

    List learner conditions and exclusions

Find every action required from you, such as attendance, assignments, application numbers or response times. Also identify exclusions based on location, background or timing. Conditions may be reasonable but they need to be visible before enrolment. Do not rely on a verbal summary when the wording could change the meaning of the promise.

    Check the remedy in writing

If the defined outcome is not met, ask what happens next. A refund, extended support or another service are different remedies. Confirm the process, deadlines and evidence required to request it. If the course price depends on a promise, consider independent advice before signing terms you do not understand.

    Promise verification checklist

    • Exact job definition and acceptable role conditions.
    • Your required actions and all exclusions.
    • Time period and how proof is assessed.
    • Written remedy and process if the condition is not met.
