Contents of the Advanced Module (Basic Module see course "Nursing Professional for Wound Care") 2.1 Deepening Fundamentals - Vascular System - Wound - Wound Healing 2.2 Deepening Disease Patterns - Deepening Vascular-Related Diseases - Differential Diagnoses of Ulcus Cruris - Tumor Wounds - Dermatological Wound Situations - Burn Wounds 2.3 Advanced Local Therapy Treatment Process/Management - Designing the Wound Treatment Process - Debridement - Stagnant Wounds - Palliative Wound Care for Inoperable (Ex) Ulcerating/Disfiguring Skin Tumors, Metastases, Sarcomas - Plastic-Reconstructive Measures - Burns, Burn Wounds, Radiation Ulcers, and Unstable Scars - Vacuum Sealing 2.4 Adjuvant Measures - Healing Agents - Orthopedic Technology and Aids - Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) 2.5 Framework Conditions/Complementary Topics - Case Management and Diagnostics - Counseling and Education - Quality Assurance in Wound Therapy (Coordination) - Interface Management (Organization, Transition, and Discharge Management) - Economic and Legal Aspects The part-time further education comprises 84 teaching units (UE) of 45 minutes each of theoretical training and practical instruction, as well as 24 hours of observation at a suitable service provider.
