Palliative Care for Caregivers

Course overview

Short Description: The central idea of this training is to provide competent support for seriously ill and dying individuals. It is not about prolonging life at any cost, but rather about maintaining quality of life, regardless of how weak and ill the person may be. This training will enable you to sensitively recognize problems and stressful situations in palliative care and to provide practical support through counseling and concrete help for those affected and their relatives. Additionally, this training addresses the acceptance of one's own limits to protect against overload and burnout.
